It’s a busy time of year: the holidays just wrapped up, kids are getting back into their schedules, work is ramping back up again…the prospect of taking time out for yourself is dim. An adventure doesn’t have to be a huge epic to feed your soul: I shot this photo on a 6 hour outing yesterday afternoon. A few hours of work climbing up hill and a couple of great powder runs down: a microadventure for a busy schedule and a busy week. Alastair Humphrey’s coined the word “microadventures”, adventures that are close to home, challenging but reasonable, and a bit out of the ordinary to shift your perspective. Here’s to a week with a microadventure!
