ASCENT OVERVIEW:

The archetypical glaciated volcano, Mt. Baker, 10,781 feet, provides an ideal climbing experience for both the novice and developed mountaineer. With sweeping views of the central Cascades and the San Juan Islands / Puget Sound, Mt. Baker offers the perfect introduction to mountaineering in the US.

THE SUMMIT:

This expedition isn’t a vacation. It is a catalyst for real breakthroughs, designed for those that need to unplug, reset, get inspired, and shift their mindset. This is a high-intensity, limit-crushing expedition that pairs traditional guided climb expertise with personal development and coaching.

1:1 and Group Coaching: This excursion includes a personal development element not offered in any other traditional guided climbs.

After leading 26 years of expeditions, I’ve witnessed far too many men experience life-changing experiences from outdoor adventures, only to see them revert to old patterns. Don’t lose the traction you have worked so hard to gain. Instead of purely accepting what is, I’m here to show you how to build resilience, release whatever’s draining you, and actually live the life you want to live.

I knew there had to be a better way to create lasting change.

There are dozens of outfitters and guides that will support you to the summit, but this isn’t just that. Matt Walker doesn’t just focus on reaching the peak. So much more than your traditional summit experience

Step into your next big adventure

spark new adventure into your life this summer

get ready to hit reset

This trip is the perfect introduction to mountaineering. You don’t need to have any previous experience, though any experience with backpacking, camping, or climbing will help - the more comfortable and relaxed you are in the environment, the more enjoyable it will be.

You will need to be in shape to hike 5-7 hours gently uphill on our first day of travel with a 40 lb. pack, the second day is a skills day, and the third day is our summit climb, which demands a full day of hiking but not with a full pack.

Matt will work with you, and your trainer is appropriate, to make sure your training and fitness sets you up for success.

how difficult is the climb?
